Proactive maintenance, real monitoring, and front-of-the-line scheduling from the team that installed more Florida solar than almost anyone. Membership buys proactive care and priority — not pre-paid repairs. If your system ever needs a repair, members pay our standard published rates with a 15% courtesy discount on repair labor, billed only as needed.
Why members join
- Someone is actually watching. We review your system’s production and monitoring data and flag problems early — often before you’d notice them on your bill.
- An expert looks at your system every year. Your membership includes a scheduled annual health review of your system (on-site for Tier 1 and Tier 2, remote for Tier 3 — see tiers below).
- You go to the front of the line. Members get priority scheduling on every service request. In storm season, that matters.
- Member pricing when you do need us. A standing 15% courtesy discount on repair labor, every visit, all membership long.
Choose your tier
Your tier is set by your system’s age, because a 2-year-old system and a 9-year-old system need different care.
Tier 1 — $450/yr — systems in service 1–3 years
- Annual on-site system health check — full physical inspection of panels, inverter, connections, and mounting; the visit and trip are included in your membership.
- Annual monitoring and production review with written findings.
- Front-of-line priority scheduling on all service requests.
- When a repair visit is for a part your equipment manufacturer’s warranty covers, your service-call dispatch is included as a membership service.
- 15% member courtesy discount on repair labor.
Tier 2 — $300/yr — systems in service 4–6 years
- Annual on-site system health check — the visit and trip are included in your membership. (Additional on-site visits beyond the annual check are billed at standard service-call rates.)
- Annual monitoring and production review with written findings.
- Front-of-line priority scheduling on all service requests.
- 15% member courtesy discount on repair labor.
Tier 3 — $250/yr — systems in service 7+ years
- Annual remote system health review — a technician reviews your production history, monitoring data, and error logs and sends written findings and recommendations.
- Ongoing monitoring and diagnostics review.
- Front-of-line priority scheduling on all service requests — the tier for owners of mature systems who want issues caught and scheduled fast.
- 15% member courtesy discount on repair labor. (On-site visits are billed at standard service-call rates.)
+ Battery Care — add $200/yr to any tier
- Quarterly remote battery health reviews (four per year): charge/discharge behavior, capacity trend, error and alert history, and firmware currency.
- Priority scheduling on battery-related service requests.
- Your 15% member courtesy discount on repair labor applies to battery work too.
How repairs work — please read this before you enroll
Goldin Solar Care is not a repair plan, and repairs are not included, bundled, or pre-paid in your membership fee. Your fee buys the proactive care and priority scheduling described above — nothing else.
If your system needs a repair:
- Repairs are billed only as needed, at our standard published service rates (a service-call fee at booking, plus labor, plus any parts).
- Members receive a 15% courtesy discount on repair labor. Parts are billed at standard pricing.
- There is no cap, credit, or allowance to “use up” — you simply pay less for labor when work is actually needed, and pay nothing when it isn’t.
We built the program this way on purpose: memberships that bundle “free repairs” get priced for the worst case and everyone overpays. You pay for care and priority; repairs stay pay-as-you-go.
Membership term and renewal
- Goldin Solar Care is a fixed 11-month membership. It does not renew automatically.
- Near the end of your term we’ll invite you to re-enroll for a new term. Your membership continues only if you say yes — no surprise charges, ever.
The fine print, in plain English
- Your manufacturer warranties are separate. Panel, inverter, and battery manufacturer warranties belong to you regardless of membership and are not changed by it. The same goes for the standard workmanship coverage every Goldin Solar customer already receives with their installation — that’s yours whether or not you join.
- Membership is priced per system, per term. The battery add-on applies per battery-equipped system.
- Service-call fees for repair visits vary by service territory; your service coordinator will quote the fee at booking, before a technician is scheduled.
