Incentives for solar
In 2020, the federal tax credit for solar is 26% of the contract price. By 2022, the credit will disappear altogether. This means that while solar technology may become cheaper, the effective price of solar may increase in the short term.
Cost effectiveness
It is probably already possible for you to save money by going solar. Every year spent waiting for technology to evolve is one year that money could have been saved each month. Therefore we suggest you go solar as soon as possible in order to maximize your long-term savings.
